Triggering episode of Daniel Tiger on right now. There’s a big storm and they lose their heat then a pipe breaks. The moral / reminder jingle is that grown-ups are there to take care of you.
Could have used some grown-ups a year ago. Kids died in their own beds — you know, the ones who didn’t know the whole family should sleep in a pile for warmth. Props to PBS Kids for trying to make sense of this garbage, the state of Texas won’t touch it.
That happened. THAT HAPPENED. And I don’t know a Texan not terrified it will happen again.
