Meet the newest CP, my son’s lovey. It was thoughtfully selected on the merit of not looking like anything, hoping to not draw the dogs’ attention by being too animal-like — which turned out unnecessary, as they seem to know by instinct what toys are his vs. theirs. This blankey-stuffie-thing is allegedly a panda but I don’t see it. Early on we called it Critter Pal which evolved to CP or “Seeps” for short.
L had three of them, each in rotation, lasting a day before desperately needing laundering. One recently went missing and we’ve been going crazy tearing apart the house (and yard/garage/cars) looking for it and trying with the remaining two to ensure he has a clean one before going to bed each night. Last week I gave up, determined to get another. My heart sank when I saw CP has been discontinued at Target, but I managed to find a fresh one on eBay.
So pristine clean! So ready for duty.
