I’ve been brushing L’s teeth since his first one erupted at 6 months. He has a little baby toothbrush he doesn’t know what to do with.
At first I brushed my teeth alongside him while he held his brush. Then, he got it in his mouth, often wrong end in, but he’d let me help him. Eventually he was kind-of, sort-of brushing, in between biting the bristles, not so interested in help anymore. Now, he steals my toothbrush and kind-of, sort-of brushes his teeth with my brush, and he does NOT need ANY help, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, but whatever.
Tonight it finally happened.
He barfed with my toothbrush in his mouth.
