Dan will be throwing down some noise tomorrow night—Monday the 24th—at Old Broadway, located at 22 Broadway in downtown Fargo. You should go because I can’t. Also playing is Kurt Schultz of Minneapolis and St. Vitas.

I won’t be performing with Dan at this gig, but I will be there and so should you. Bring your dancin’ shoes and wear clean underwear ’cause this show’s gonna take your pants off. For those in the Cities who insist on staying t/here, head over to First Ave for A Whisper in the Noise, Cloud Cult, the Umbrella Sequence and If Thousands. (I am sooooooooo jealous-torn. You’ll want to wear clean underwear there, too.)

hi. yeah. i will be in fargo this weekend at chip off the ol block. i’m not sure if i’ll stay for Sparta (at Playmaker’s) what with the drive and monday a.m. workage, but it’s tempting. most importantly i have a hot harry potter date with two fine young gentlemen (ahem… my lil brothers).

for clarification for those peekin in: dan/fake will be not be playing at Saturday’s show due to unfortunate familial circumstances.

a whisper in the noise has been at the periphery of my music knowledge for quite some time. and by some happy twist of fate, i not only had a free ticket to the show, i also got off work two and a half hours early and managed to skedaddle over to first ave in time to catch the whole set. which was awesome, and i was only expecting something mildly interesting. yay i love surprises. especially when they’re in th form of really great music 🙂

ooo congratulations, alicia. a Whisper is stupidly fantastic. i just got hooked on the Umbrella Sequence who also played (and by hooked i mean knocked on my ass devastated [in a good way]). glad you had a great time.

megh, please accept my apologies for not taking the time to stop and say hello on saturday. i know for certain that i walked right by you at least two seperate times, but i was on my way to take care of some business that needed attention then and there. then later i could not see you. i hope that you had a splendid time and appreciate the hell out of you driving the hours to come and dance!!

no worries, decker. i could have just as easily said hey myself. i wasn’t feeling well and didn’t stay long (unfortunately). i did debate the run overall but the weekend turned out much better than expected. i think the weather had a hand in it… there’s something mystic about the hot humid heat and waking up sticky in the HUD i grew up in.

plus i got a MORE BETTER THAN YOU lighter which makes every mile (both ways!) worth it. 😀
