A good 12 people without masks were jawin, having a good ol&#8217; time. In my blaring bright turquoise N95, head down I went to the restroom. Nobody said anything, they didn&#8217;t have to, I could see it in their smirks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outsider. Idiot. Sheep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grown-ass adults can make their own decisions, but surely a few among them eschew the mask out of pressure. What kind of choice is that? Getting laughed at, ostracized, in a town too small to hide. Is a mandate an overreach when pride trumps sense? &#8230;and science and compassion and patience, please, just a few months longer. Why make it effortless to die?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I always rolled my eyes at &#8220;freedom isn&#8217;t free&#8221; but maybe this is what they mean.
