I just fixed a busted link. Gimme a cookie! Wait, I have cookies\u2014Halloween Oreos smashed to hell (on sale!) turning my spit to mud and\u2014somehow\u2014giving me a headache. Is this bad? Hm. Last night I saw “Red Dragon” in a free preview showing on campus. It was okay… a little sloppy and rushed at points, though the acting was fairly decent (Edward Norton! yay!).<\/p>\n

Also free was an unopened 9x12ft heavy duty plastic dropcloth I found this afternoon in a trashbin. Who throws away a dropcloth? It’s “easy to open and cut,” “easy to fold,” AND “easy to spread.”<\/p>\n

So what exactly is this “news item,” you ask? Paper-writin’ procrastination.<\/p>\n

Ah what else. I realized today that… well… my education feels hollow. I have no time to engage with the material in an intelligent way\u2014I just hope to hell I get the reading done and perhaps make a useful remark every so often. Do you realize I’ve been taking classes since January? I would like more time, please. And how ’bout a break? Space for a “pleasure read” (what are those, remember those??) and no more guilt for sleepin’ way weekends. …Please? Oh, and the Dredg show was excellent. Okay. Time to work. No really, I’m serious, I’m gonna destroy\u2014Geoffrey Chaucer, you’ve met your match.<\/p>\n
